Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Services
Build4Fun provides digital fabrication services including 3D printing (FDM and resin), laser cutting, laser engraving, 3D design, and electronics integration. All services are subject to file review and production feasibility confirmation.
2. Pricing and estimates
Our online calculators provide automatic cost estimates based on standard parameters such as volume, weight, and material. These estimates are indicative — the final price may be adjusted after file review depending on geometry complexity, material, quantity, finish, and deadline. By placing an order through our checkout, you accept the estimated price subject to any post-review adjustments communicated before production begins.
3. Orders and payment
Orders are placed through our website by adding items to the cart and completing checkout. Payment is processed securely via Stripe (credit or debit card) and is required in full before production begins. An order is confirmed once payment is successfully received.
4. Production and delivery
Lead times are estimates and depend on queue, complexity, and material availability. Build4Fun makes every effort to meet communicated deadlines but is not liable for delays caused by force majeure or supply chain disruptions. Shipping is tracked and insured within Portugal and the EU.
5. Files and intellectual property
Clients retain full ownership of their designs and files. Build4Fun uses uploaded files exclusively for production and quoting purposes and does not share, sell, or reuse client files. Files are deleted from our systems within 90 days of order completion.
6. Quality and returns
All orders undergo quality inspection before shipping. If a part does not meet the agreed specifications, the client must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Build4Fun will offer a reprint or refund at its discretion. Returns due to client design errors are not eligible for refund.
7. Limitation of liability
Build4Fun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products. Our total liability is limited to the value of the order in question.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
